Original material[]

Doppelganger Part Three[]

Shipwreck pilots a Water Moccasin down the tunnels as the Cobra Troopers pursue him aboard another. Shipwreck thinks that although he doesn't know where he's going or how to use all the controls, he does at least have them rattled. Copperhead and a Crimson Guard board a further Moccasin, taking with them the police motorcyclist they captured[1] as a hostage. On the surface Footloose reports to Flint and Crankcase that there's no way to follow the Cobras. Lady Jaye radios in, telling them the tunnels lead back into the London network and also that the motorcyclist if Reece Jones, son of Elwyn Jones MP, Action Force's fiercest critic who forced Action Force to be officially grounded.[2] The Action Force members rush to head back to London realising if they don't save Jones Action Force could be disbanded forever.

In the sewers Shipwreck performs some twisted manoeuvres causing two of the pursuing Moccasins to crash but the third continues. He spots daylight and speeds through a hole to find himself on the Thames. Speeding eastwards he is still pursued and the Cobra Moccasin shoots out his steering. Shipwreck stares helplessly as his craft heads straight towards the Thames Barrier.

Items of note[]

  • Most of the recurring features, including both Combat Colin and the reprints of Master of Kung Fu, are absent from this issue due to the high number of strip pages (18 out of 24) and the need to finish the reprinting of "Darkness" prior to the release of the "Action Force Holiday Special" which reprinted "All Fall Down!" from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #31 in full.
