Blades emerges from the Thames and reflects on how it was the only way in and out of the tunnels where he was attacked by first Action Force and then an unidentified Transformer.[1] He climbs up to see Megatron fighting Grimlock, Centurion and several Dragonflies. Seeing one of the Dragonflies has lost its rotors and is plummeting Blades transforms to helicopter mode and flies up, telling Wild Bill to jump aboard him. The Dragonfly crashes and explodes. Flint is furious at what he believes is the death of a comrade and orders Heavy Metal to bring in the Maulers. Megatron is about to blow Grimlock's head off when he is blasted by the Maulers. Blades lands and transforms and Wild Bill rushes over to Flint to tell him to call off the Maulers. Blades has told him Megatron is virtually indestructible and "all those Maulers are gonna do is make him mad!"

Items of noteEdit

Reprinted materialEdit

Seven pages of "Celebration!" from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #33.

Non Action Force stripsEdit

This issue continues the Master of Kung Fu back-up strips, reprinting part of "A Gulf of Lions" from Master of Kung Fu volume 1 #30. The title was changed to "The Crystal Connection" to present the strip as a single story.

Mail Call!Edit

The letters page prints letters on a variety of subjects, including explaining why the Dragonfly has no tail rotor and that Quick Kick, as a martial artist, is trained to endure difficult environments so would walk bare chested and barefooted in the story Cold Comfort.

Combat ColinEdit

Combat Colin is still continuing to practice martial arts. Semi-Automatic Steve charges him with a bayonet but Colin leaps aside... onto a skateboard that crashes him into a sand lorry that dumps him in a quarry with a crane that throws him in a pond!
