The B Cover of G.I

Published in 2009, G.I. Joe: Cobra was the third comic series published by IDW in the new IDW comics continuity. It was a four-issue 2009 miniseries that detailed the status quo of the Cobra organization, from the perspective of undercover Joe member Chuckles as he spied on the threat. The story was written by Christos Gage and Mike Costa and art by Antonio Fuso. The covers were illustrated by Howard Chaykin.[1]

The title of each issue's story is the second half of a term or phrase that typically begins with the word "Snake":

  • "Charmer"
  • "In the Grass"
  • "Oil"
  • "Eyes"

The miniseries was end-capped by G.I. Joe: Cobra Special #1 the same year and succeeded by another miniseries, G.I. Joe: Cobra II in 2010.
