G.I. Joe: Hall of Fame

From Joepedia - The G.I. Joe Wiki

The G.I. Joe: Hall of Fame series was a revival of the 12" action figure format by Hasbro that began in 1991 and ended in 1994. It was, initially, composed of characters from the A Real American Hero series before re-introducing the original concept of representative military men.

The Hall of Fame era began in 1991 with a Target Stores-only exclusive 12" Duke action figure. The release of the Duke action figure piqued the interest of both camps of G.I. Joe fans: the nostalgic fans of the 12" classic and fans of the then-current popular A Real American Hero series. Hasbro found an untapped market potential and made plans to release additional action figures.
