During the Vietnam War Leatherneck served with the future Action Force members Gung-Ho, Roadblock and Wild Bill.[1]
Leatherneck was part of a team who tricked Tomax and Xamot into leading a team of B.A.T.s into Action Force's London base, both to test security and secure samples of B.A.T. technology.[2] He was then was one of many Action Force members deliberately sent to Rhodes to get them out of the country when Trent was being blackmailed by the Dreadnoks.[3] Subsquently he was part of an Action Force team sent to recover a Northrod B2 bomber crew who crashed on an island with top secret information,[4] then part of a mission to the Australian desert to stop Cobra launching an orbital weapons platform[5] and then part of a team who stopped Cobra obtaining a powerful laser driven by diamonds.[6] Leatherneck was then part of a team who travelled to Vietnam after Gung-Ho went in search of his former comrades.[7]
