Major Bludd is the warden of Cobra's Section Ten prison, though his hard demeanor hides a surprising secret: he does what he does to make sure his typical suburban family is provided for.
The man who would become Major Bludd came from a long line of hardship. His grandfather was a farmer who couldn't pay his mortgage, and had the farm seized by the bank; his father worked in a factory, until new owners shut it down and moved the work elsewhere. A good family man, Major Bludd was determined not to let the same thing happen to him.
He was given control of Cobra's Antarctic gulag, Section Ten. Cobra Commander leaves him alone, for the most part, and cares only that the prisoner population remains constant: since the purpose of the prison is to storage for those who might be needed later, the Major does not abide unsanctioned deaths.
