Rise of Cobra (2009 Movie)
- Portrayed by Rachel Nichols.
Scarlett is first seen with the Joe team rescuing Duke and Ripcord from an ambush using her crossbow to shoot multiple Neo-Vipers.
Upon returning to the Pit, Scarlett oversaw Ripcord and Duke's weapons testing. She is unfazed by Ripcord's advances and does not return them. During the attack at the Pit by Cobra, Scarlett fought against the Baroness, gaining the upper hand by using a stealth suit but losing when the Baroness threw dirtl at her, choked her with a chain and knocked her out. She was comforted by Ripcord over her loss and later assisted in the chase of the Baroness and Storm Shadow in Paris only to have her commandeered motorcycle destroyed mid-chase. Ripcord saves her, but she, Ripcord, Heavy Duty, and Breaker, are arrested by French authorities for Cobra's damage to the Eiffel Tower with one of the nanomite warheads.
She later assisted in capturing the M.A.R.S. base and helping Ripcord, who stole a Cobra prototype fighter, to track down and destroy the M.A.R.S warheads. She is again seen at the Cobra control room with Snake-Eyes and Breaker.
At the end of the film, when the Joes are on their way to their next mission, Scarlett admits to be feeling "very emotional".
Personality and abilities
Scarlett thought that emotions were not explained by science and that if nobody could scientifically prove that they existed then they didn't. Scarlett gradually started to believe in the existance of emotions. She appeared to share a sibling like relationship with Snake-Eyes.
Scarlett appeared to be a bit too prideful and after she was defeated in combat by the Baroness she became depressed for a short time. Ripcord pointed out that nobody could win everything but he also told her to never give up and to always get back up and helped heal her wounded pride.
Scarlett was an exceptional fighter and was a formidable markswoman, who had scored 100% in her marksmanship tests. She wielded a unique kind of crossbow gun, firing explosive bolts that lock on their target. She was also very skilled in hand to hand combat even able to hold her own against the Baroness who was herself a formidable combatant. Scarlett was also able to ride a motorcycle with impressive skill, though she was eventually blown off it by the Baroness. She was able to fluently speak at least twelve languages.
