the picture here is of Duke not Hawk—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jaguartalon (talkcontribs).

Nope, that's Hawk - you can tell by the jacket. Now you can see why the cartoon and toys gave Hawk brown hair instead of the comics' blonde, so you can actually tell them apart. --buttbutt 07:04, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

so there only difference in the comics is a jacket? --Jaguartalon 20:35, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes - blonde clean shaved Caucasian men in Marvel comics frequently wind up looking very similar to each other. The original Hawk toy is blonde and the comics followed suit, then Duke came along and started the confusion, then the second Hawk toy was give dark brown hair. Hawk appeared late in the cartoon so the mess could be cleaned up but in the comics things were well established by that point.
And then the Tiger Force Duke toy came along in 1988 with light brown hair, then in 1992 he returned to blonde, them in 1997 to brown, then in 2002 to blonde, then in 2004 to bleach blonde, then in 2005 to blonde, and now the movie toys are dark brown. Meanwhile the Hawk toys from 2004 to 2008 are blonde again! Timrollpickering 07:58, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
