Other notes

Animation and/or technical glitches

  • While talking to Ramirez & company, Shipwreck's belt buckle disappears.

Continuity errors

  • No errors known.

Miscellaneous trivia

  • The film to be shown in the Cobra cavern is called Amusement Park of Terror. This was also the title of the second G.I. Joe miniseries finale.
  • Cobra Commander says he attended a military academy and led a mutiny there. Perhaps he did so while still living in Cobra-La?

Real-world references

  • Shipwreck says that his acting deserves an Oscar. Oscar is another name for the Academy Award, which is presented for excellence in cinematic achievements.
  • Ramirez mentions both an Emmy and a Pulitzer. An Emmy Award is an award for excellence in television, and a Pulizter Prize is presented for journalistic, literary, and musical composition achievements. He really doesn't deserve either.
  • In the G.I. Joe recreation room, Cover Girl, Thunder, Ace and Ripcord are watching Spider-Man.
